I visited NYC with my school art travel studies class in the end of October. We were there for 5 days. It was an inspiring, invigorating, and much needed trip. I decided to leave my DSLR at home and only brought 2 film cameras, black and white film, and my iPhone.
I had the lovely opportunity to meet up with my brother and mother for a day. That was the last time I saw my brother before he left for a 2-year mission for our church.
I also got to visit Lynsey Addario's photography exhibit. She is a photography I discovered over the summer after I read her book: It's What I Do. I've been amazed and inspired by her work and her story ever since.
